Scenario Lab

Learning objective

Test a policy package and read baseline, scenario and difference.

The Scenario Lab applies transparent, illustrative elasticities with time lags. Only confirmed funding pays for the base case; stress tests show what breaks.

Step by step

  1. 1
Open the Scenario Lab, choose a country and move a few levers. Open →
  2. 2
Save two scenarios and compare them. Open →

What the result means

Results are MODELLED: a consistent “what if”, not a forecast or guarantee.

Limitations and common mistakes

  • Country settings use own history, then a labelled regional estimate, then a labelled default. These are uncertain relationships, not causal proof.
  • Regional spill-overs are mapped but not quantified.
