First country journey: evidence to a saved plan
Learning objective
Use the full national workflow without confusing evidence, opportunities and modelled advice.
Start with any country, understand its people and economy, compare opportunities, then test a question. Every country follows the same workflow, but not every country publishes the same evidence.
Step by step
- 1Open the dashboard and select Kenya, or your country of focus. Note the observation years and any MISSING figures. Open →
- 2Open the HDI question mark. Read what the number measures, what it leaves out and why a category threshold is not an optimal target.
- 3Open Country intelligence and inspect the country’s baseline, human-development evidence and data gaps. Open →
- 4Choose the same country in Economic sectors. Compare score, available criteria and how the ranking changes with objective weights. Open →
- 5Ask Scenario Planner to improve productive jobs over a chosen timeframe with a debt constraint. Confirm the country, objective and constraints before Analyse. Open →
- 6Read the live baseline, missing inputs, model-settings basis and pathway assumptions. Check whether the proposed approach actually addresses your goal.
- 7Build or save a strategy and review milestones. Use Global Signals to identify events that may warrant revisiting assumptions. Open →
- 8Create or open a profile in My work and keep the save code private. Verify supported work appears after saving. Open →
What the result means
A recommendation is advice under stated assumptions, not government policy or a guaranteed outcome. Record evidence gaps and seek local feasibility checks before implementation.
